This two-disc DVD collection is mastered from 35mm restoration prints overseen by The Harold Lloyd Trust, which should represent the best-surviving prints of these seven Harold Lloyd shorts and feature films. The Freshman is presented with audio commentary by Leonard Maltin, Rich Correll and Richard Bann.
For our comparative reviews of the individual films in this collection, see our Billy Blazes, Esq. on home video, Bumping into Broadway on home video, Doctor Jack on home video, The Freshman on home video, Grandma’s Boy on home video, High and Dizzy on home video, The Kid Brother on home video and Now or Never on home video pages.
While long out-of-print, this collection still represents the best-available home video editions of some these wonderful films and recommend it highly, if you can find a copy.
